have and idea and paint

More sketches and a watercolor class later I realize AGAIN the importance of color. For some of the emotions in the book, I should use liquid watercolors.

Today I painted some of the houses I saw along the road. Every house was different yet belongs among the hills, roads and trees. Makes me think of humanity and love.

Then I painted a texture inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. I didn’t just paint lines. I painted the emotions I felt. Nature gives me such calmness and peace.

I admit that this type of painting has my heart. I mean I just paint. There’s no pencil or eraser. All I have is IDEA and paint.

I ended today’s session with Amya Montero’s Quiero Ser. Isn’t the point of my art to feel liberated… yes

I have all these stories and use color, texture and nature to bring them to life. My favorite supplies are watercolor, acrylic, and fun tools. I just want to create.
