More sketches and a watercolor class later I realize AGAIN the importance of color. For some of the emotions in the book, I should use liquid watercolors.
Today I painted some of the houses I saw along the road. Every house was different yet belongs among the hills, roads and trees. Makes me think of humanity and love.
Then I painted a texture inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. I didn’t just paint lines. I painted the emotions I felt. Nature gives me such calmness and peace.
I admit that this type of painting has my heart. I mean I just paint. There’s no pencil or eraser. All I have is IDEA and paint.
I ended today’s session with Amya Montero’s Quiero Ser. Isn’t the point of my art to feel liberated… yes
